District Administrator Elmar Stegmann (right side of the picture) hands over the certificate to our Thiemo Rösler, CEO of rose plastic AG.

On behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment, Elmar Stegmann, District Administrator of the Lindau district (Lake Constance), awarded our company with the certificate of the Environmental and Climate Pact of Bavaria.

Receiving the certificate, Thiemo Rösler recalled his entry into the family business ten years ago. "At that time, the Environmental Pact of Bavaria was one of the first projects I was in charge of", said the CEO of rose plastic AG.

Over the years, some important measures have been implemented. Among other things, rose plastic AG has been certified according to the environmental management system 14001 since 2011. We use environmentally friendly processes and technologies in the manufacture of our products. Waste heat from production is used to heat our office buildings and electricity at rose plastic flows mainly from renewable sources.

When presenting the certificate to Thiemo Rösler, District Administrator Stegmann praised the great commitment shown by rose plastic to environmental and climate protection. "I am very pleased about your voluntary environmental commitment, which you have already integrated into your corporate culture over many years. In this way, you not only contribute to sustainable development in our district, but also take on an important role model function in terms of sustainability, environmental and climate protection."

About the Environmental and Climate Pact of Bavaria:

The Environmental and Climate Pact of Bavaria is an initiator for new ways, methods and topics, with the goal of a sustainable development of Bavaria. The overriding goal is to improve the ecological, economic and social foundations of current and future generations in Bavaria.

The Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact is an agreement between the Bavarian state government and Bavarian industry. It is based on voluntariness, personal responsibility, cooperation and the conviction that the natural foundations of life can be better protected with the help of voluntary and reliable cooperation between the state and industry than with laws and regulations alone. The focus is on the proactive avoidance of future environmental pollution through continuous improvement of corporate environmental protection, not on repairing it.
